Kisarawe District Commissioner, Hon. Jokate Mwegelo has urged residents of Masaki Kisarawe Village to stop “MAJUNGU” and gossip as the practice has made the village unable to continue for a long time.
He said this on Friday when he visited the village to see the project of 25 Women Entrepreneurs who sought 10 million TSH for the construction of a modern restaurant that will bring in money and boost the economy.
He said one of the challenges that plagued the village was the scandal and the state of affairs which he claimed had pushed the village backwards in development.
And the villagers of the area acknowledged the challenge and promised the District Commissioner to go and work on it while thanking him for speaking out in public.
