Uganda- South Africa based entrepreneur Zari Hassan just went back to South Africa after her one week visit to Tanzania. Although she claimed to have been in Tanzanian because of co-parenting with her baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz, the cat has been let out of the bag as to why Diamond called her.
One of her greatest enemy, blogger Mange Kimambi, claimed to have been approached by one of Diamond’s family members and was told why.
To the now-deleted post, Mange claimed that Diamond wanted to conduct DNA on the two kids, Nilan and Tiffah to confirm whether they were really his children.
Unfortunately, Zari did not allow him to go out with the kids alone. She would accompany them wherever they would go hence preventing him from carrying out his arranged task.
Zari came to Tanzania two years after she left for South Africa in a huff after dumping the singer on Valentine’s Day, 2018. Videos shared on social media captured the excited singer receiving Zari at Julius Nyerere International Airport and looked ecstatic as he carried Nillan,3, and Tiffah, 5, in his arms.
In a swipe at critics whom she said have no clue about co-parenting and continue to poke holes at her relationship with the Jeje star, the Ugandan businesswoman and influencer clarified that she is not back with the Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) founder.
“We are not back together; there is a lot of things happening on social media, lakini for me I brought the kids because their father wanted to see them. He wasn’t able to come to see them because he has a lot of things lined up. I’m doing this for the kids. The kids missed him but it was mostly him. I mean, he hasn’t seen them for the last two years. This was mostly for him to spend time with the kids,” said the mother of five.
Asked if she will be staying at Platnumz’s mansion in Mbezi, Zari noted she has no qualms boarding with the singer during her stay.
“Whether I stay with him or at the hotel it’s okay. Even if I stay with him at home it doesn’t mean that anything will happen. I’m just here to bring the kids to visit him. If there is one thing as Africans we don’t understand, it’s what’s co-parenting, naweza kuja hata if he got somebody because it’s home for the kids regardless of what happened between us because we are co-Parenting,” she added.
She broke up with Platnumz after he reportedly confessed that he had cheated on her with model Hamisa Mobetto. For months the two were reportedly not on speaking terms, with the Bongo Flava A-lister at one time claiming that Zari was denying him access to his children.
They warmed up to each other early in the year; a new development that came soon after he broke up with Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna – the mother to of one of his children, after dating for slightly over a year.
