LIL BABY TEASES NEW COLLABORATION WITH DRAKE

Lil Baby and Drake have more music on the way.

The Atlanta rapper revealed that he has been in the studio working on a new song for Champagne Papi.

“I got a song for him right now. I done went to the studio like two times! I ain’t feel it yet,” he said while speaking with Icebox jewelers last month.

He admits that the song has been challenging because of its slow tempo. “All the slow songs, they really… It takes me longer to rap, ’cause like, I don’t really care what I say on a song.”

While he normally freestyles his rhymes, when it comes to Drake, he takes his time.

“But with Drake, it’s like, I be trying to think about it,” he said. “And that’s what makes

it harder for me, ’cause like, I’m thinking. When I don’t even think, I just rap. ‘Cause, it’s Drake, I get kind of like, damn!”

The baby also revealed that he plans to approach his next album differently. “Like, every

song, I’m writing it! So it’s gonna be like more detailed,” he said. “So now I freestyle,

only the top of my brain comes out. So now I’ll dig into it one time. It’s time for me to have a serious album.”

Lil Baby and Drake previously teamed up on 2018’s “Yes Indeed” and this year’s “Wants

and Needs.” Their next collaboration could land on Drake’s long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy, which is expected by the end of summer.

Baby is also headed “Back Outside” on his upcoming tour with Lil Durk. The 23-date trek

kicks off Sept. 1 in Mansfield, Mass. and runs through Oct. 15 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
