“Nana would sleep on the hospital couch and even bath me!” King Kaka praises dedicated wife

King Kaka shocked most Kenyans earlier this month when he revealed that he had been very ill for the past 3 months.

It had gotten so bad that he lost 33 kgs during that period. Just last week, the rapper posted the first photo of himself after the weight loss with Kenyans empathising with him in the comments section.

Many including Jalang’o himself praised his wife Nana Owiti for being a constant in his life who had being there for him.

The Dundaing rapper has also decided to show his appreciation for the mother of his 3 kids in a message he wrote on his Instagram page today.

“Let me count my blessings. The last 3 months has been nothing short but terrifying. This lady here @nanaowiti has shown and proven what a wife and a best friend is,” he started.

He also explained some unknown details of what his wife had done for him during the 3 month period, including sleeping at the hospital where he was recuperating,

“From kulala kwa couch ya hospitali next to my bed then you wake up shower in the same hospital, go and smile kwa TV like everything is okay to fighting with Nurses on why they are ‘slow’ (Big Up to the Nurses who took care of me, ni vile Nana alikuwa anataka nipone haraka).”

Kaka also divulged how bad the disease that had ravaged him had been, explaining that Nana even had to bath him!

“To praying and encouraging me to eat, to sponge-bathing me when the temperatures were too high. I am currently walking on that road to recovery but I pray that God guides you and grants you all your hearts’ wishes & desires.”

He concluded, “Just leant the new meaning of the word ‘Partner’ in a relationship. Be blessed and Asante Nana.”

I hope that the rapper and his wife see many more years after this tough period in their life.
