Inflation Strikes Fear Across The Generations

Some 40 per cent of adults describe themselves as concerned and 24 per cent as very

concerned about inflation, according to the survey by Aegon.

The headline inflation rate soared to 5.1 per cent in November, and a further cost of living

squeeze is forecast in the coming months, particularly when it comes to energy bills.

Middle aged people are the most anxious about inflation, and women are more bothered than men.
