Beyoncé celebrated her 40th birthday at sea.
The pop icon, who marked the milestone on Sept. 4, kicked off her birthday festivities by renting a $400 million mega yacht and sailing across the Mediterranean with her family. According to celebrity real estate blog HouseOfCelebs, the superyacht rents for a whopping $4.2 million a week.

Built-in 2019, the 450-foot long “Flying Fox” can accommodate up to 25 guests and comes with a 39-foot pool on the main deck, a movie theater, nightclub, elevator, and two helipads. While on board, 55 crew members will cater to your every need.
The 27-time Grammy winner shared a series of photos from her European getaway. She and JAY-Z raise a toast in one pic, while Queen Bey stuns in a lime green dress and heels in another. The couple’s 4-year-old daughter Rumi also makes a rare cameo alongside her parents in another sweet photo.
Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson were also on board for Bey’s 40th birthday celebration. “Yes celebrate 40 years of hard work and sacrifice you deserve every bit of celebration,” wrote Ms. Tina, who shared photos from the luxurious trip, which included stops in Sardinia and Positano.

Blue Ivy also helped her mom ring in her 40th. She captured a slow motion video of her grandmother on the boat. “My beautiful talented Blue Ivy shot this Slo mo video of me!” wrote Tina. “She makes the best short films ( she got it from her mama).”
