SHAFFIE WERU AND DJ JOE MFALME SUSPENDED BY HOMEBOYZ RADIO MANAGEMENT

After a heated debate following the lose statements made by Shaffie Weru, Neville and DJ Joe Mfalme: the Homeboyz radio management has decided to suspend these 3 presenters as a disciplinary measure!

As seen on a press statement released by Homeboyz – the management says this disciplinary action was made by the board after analyzing the statements made by the 3 hosts.

For this reason Shaffie Weru, DJ Joe Mfalme and Neville will not report to work for 2 weeks; but will undergo a mandatory gender awareness training on ethical reporting and on air discussion of Women issues.

Seeing that this a topic that needs to be handled in a sensitive manner; the whole Homeboyz fraternity will also undergo the same training as that of Shaffie Weru, Neville and Joe Mfalme.
This comes after the comments made by Kenyans on social media who bashed the presenters for their insensitive remarks; knowing very well that their has been rise in gender based violence in Kenya.
