Arsenal ‘Planning To Reignite Houssem Aouar Interest Next Summer’

Arsenal are reportedly planning to move for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar during next summer’s transfer window.

The Gunners were strongly linked with the 23-year-old over the summer, but the deadline passed with the Frenchman remaining at his Ligue 1 outfit.

Aouar’s future in Lyon is far from secure, though, with the terms of the midfielder’s current deal due to expire in June 2023.

According to todofichajes, the Frenchman will not be leaving Les Gones in January but is expected to seek a move away ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

The report claims that Arsenal has not given up hope of signing the midfielder, and the North London club is planning to reignite their interest next summer.

Aouar, who was also strongly linked with Tottenham Hotspur over the recent transfer window, has provided two assists in five Ligue 1 appearances for Peter Bosz’s side this term
