BARBERIAL PROVIDES 3K FREE MASKS IN THE SLUMS TO FIGHT COVID-19

Celebrity barber Dola Barberia is changing the society one mask at a time, thanks to his desire to restore dignity among the poor.

Dola, who has been practising the trade for the last 7 years, has so far provided more than 3,000 masks for free.

According to the soft-spoken young man

‘He started the initiative after he saw how people in the slums were suffering due to lack of mask…

Initially, he only started with a few masks he had for himself then later got support from his friends, clients and celebrities.’

The 3,000 masks have so far been distributed in areas such as Mathare, Huruma, Kariobangi and some parts of Eastleigh.
