Barcelona ‘Set £12.8m Asking Price For Ilaix Moriba’

Barcelona are reportedly prepared to cash in on midfielder Iliax Moriba for just £12.8m this summer.

While the highly-regarded 18-year-old was provided with opportunities in the first team at Camp Nou last season, the prospect has failed to agree on a new contract.

Many clubs across Europe, including the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, are allegedly open to taking advantage of Moriba having less than a year remaining on his existing deal.

However, according to ARA, Barcelona are prepared to do business at £12.8m to guarantee that a deal goes through before the end of the month.

At a time when Wolverhampton Wanderers are also said to be monitoring the situation, the report claims that none of the interested clubs are yet to bid more than £4.3m.

Moriba, who does not turn 19 years of age until January, contributed one goal and three assists during his 536 minutes in La Liga during 2020-21
