Travel company Bonfire Adventures Managing Director Sarah Kabu is toying with the idea of owning an aircraft.
Sarah took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a video of herself at an airport with a bunch
of junk aircraft that were recently put on notice for auction on the background.
“This is about to become my toy as a reminder that our dreams are valid,” she wrote about one of the planes.
With a bit of nostalgia, she recalled how she was unable to even afford bus fare a few years ago yet here she was now contemplating buying a plane.
“Yaani leo mimi na bid kununua ndege and few years I was sitting in kiti sambaza kwa matatu I couldn’t afford main seat,” she wrote.
“May this inspire someone who cannot afford bus fare or lunch today just remember Sarah
Kabu was in your position few years back na sasa getting close to own an aeroplane.”
Sarah went on to say that she was actually contemplating buying two planes, one for herself and another for her husband, Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu.
“Team Sarah Kabu do I place my bid on these two toys, I want his and hers then I surprise Simon with his as he lands back from Mauritius biz trip,” she said
