President Uhuru Kenyatta failed to give specifics on other existing restrictions like bar closures. This is after issuing an order to vacate the dusk-to-dawn curfew during his Mashujaa Day address.
This has thrown Kenyans into a state of confusion. The NPS stated that bars across the country will remain closed indefinitely, despite a lift of the daily dusk-to-dawn curfew.
Health CS Kagwe is however set to address a press conference on the status of COVID-19 in the country on Thursday afternoon, during which he is expected to give a unified direction on the matter.
