ODM leader Raila Odinga has watered down claims that he will be contesting for the country’s top job in 2022.
He was speaking during the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) launch at the Bomas of Kenya on Monday.
The former Prime Minister said he was not keen on talking about 2022 politics, insisting that there is a government in place with a mandate to deliver.
At the same time, he appeared to jab at Deputy President William Ruto who he accused of distancing himself from the government he formed with President Kenyatta in 2013.
He asked Ruto to work on delivering the Big 4 Agenda to Kenyans as he is still part of the Jubilee Government.
“We don’t want to talk about 2022 now. We are talking about the Kenya of today The Jubilee Gov’t and their leaders have their 4 point agenda. Wamalize hiyo kwanza. Siwako pair? Wewe umekua na bibi mmezaa mtoto alafu amekua kichaa sasa wewe unasema huyu si mtoto wangu,” Raila said.
