Eric Punguza bhangi! Jalang’o warns comedian Eric Omondi

Speaking to content creators on Monday, Jalang’o said Eric failed in the plan since he has not been involving the stakeholders.

Kiss FM’S breakfast co-host Jalang’o has weighed in on comedian Eric Omondi push for 75% local content consumption.

Speaking to content creators on Monday, Jalang’o said Eric failed in the plan since he has not been involving the stakeholders.

Jalang’o said although Eric’s idea is great, he will fail since he wants to fight alone. He alleged that the comedian is high on Marijuana.

“Kamene and I play 80% of Kenyan music on Kiss FM. The problem with my brother Eric is Bhangi, that is where his problems begin,” he said.

Jalang’o added;

“If Eric could have wanted this thing to work, he would have called a few people from the industry. Eric has my number, he has Churchill’s number and even musicians numbers and other personalities. He could have involved all stakeholders.

He could have called us so that it does not look like it is his fight alone.  He decided to go fight alone. Eric, you will be beaten thoroughly. For us comedians, we told him if he continues with trolling us, we will beat him and go show people where he lives and all his problems.”

Responding, Eric said he is tired of calling meetings with no action taken.

“My brother. We are TIRED of Empty Rhetoric, We are Tired of the Status Quo, We are Tired of MEETINGS and COMMITTEES that Bear no FRUITS, We are Tired of those STUPID CARTELS you are Calling ARTISTS, How many Meetings have Artists had in the Past 8 Years with no RESULTS.

We are TIRED of CHEAP TALK. IT’S TIME FOR ACTION!!! IT’S TIME FOR RESULTS!!! It’s very SIMPLE, PLAY 75% KENYAN.”
