‘I Unsuccessfully Auditioned For Churchill For 4 Years’ -Mulamwah

“I came here for 4 years consecutively. Every Monday I would travel and be in Nairobi for the auditions after that I would go back to Eldoret.”- Mulamwah

Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has shared how he auditioned for Churchill’s show for 4 years without any success.

Mulamwah says he auditioned for so long without success that he almost gave up.

Sharing his story On Churchill show, the father of one said,

“I really wanted to do comedy but my dad wanted me to study. I used to watch comedy shows and wished to be part of the shows.

My journey to comedy started on campus because I had free time and no one was following me up. On the first Sunday after joining campus I went for CU and we were all told to say our names.

Everyone did but when it came to me everyone laughed when I said my name. I could not understand why they were laughing only to realize they found how I talked funny.

Every Sunday I started to perform and curtain raise for pastors before they preached.

I was linked up with some guys in Eldoret who were doing comedy. After 1 year is when we were able to open our own show. Sadly the hotel closed.”
