Jalang’o Announces Return Of Luo Festival

The event was banned on grounds of implementing COVID-19 control measures
Comedian Jalang’o has been given a go-ahead to host the Luo Festival event of 2021.
The good news shared by Jalang’o comes days after the event was banned, on grounds of implementing COVID-19 control measures.

On his social media, Jalang’o announced the big news, promising to communicate the date of the event.

“Good news! We have been given an okay to hold the Luo Festival…we are working with the artists to know their availability then we party hard!!
Thanks to the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of health, the police and the local authority, we will announce the new dates soon once we can assemble the artists again!! Full movie loading,” he shared.

The event was to be hosted on August 28 before cancellation by the Interior Ministry.
“The Government has reviewed our ticket sales and deemed it not safe to have the event take place because of the numbers. I’m sorry but we have to adhere to the regulations.

We immediately start the reimbursement of all payments made, tickets and every single loss incurred by the service providers who were already on the ground.
Kindly go out there and get vaccinated,” said Jalang’o
