MIGUNA MIGUNA’S MESSAGE TO DONALD TRUMP LEAVES KENYANS IN STITCHES

Miguna Miguna and Donald Trump

Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna left Kenyans on social media in stitches after he jokingly offered to swear in Donald Trump as the ‘people’s President’ in the US.

Miguna, popularly referred to as the General by a section of the public in Kenya, urged Trump to get in touch with him so they could discuss the fee charges.

“@realDonaldTrump: I am an experienced Barrister & Solicitor in Ontario, Canada. I have received instructions from millions of Kenyans asking me to swear you in as “The People’s President.” Please get in touch so that we can discuss my fees and other incidentals,” Miguna’s tweet read.

Miguna’s tweet comes amid a hotly contested election in the US where the incumbent Trump is facing Joe Biden.

On January 30, 2018, Miguna Miguna swore Raila Odinga in a mock-swearing at Uhuru Park following a hotly contested presidential election that went to two rounds of voting.

This explains why Kenyans think Miguna could be of help to Trump with Biden taking an early lead. As at 12:24 am EAT, Biden had won 234 states against Trumps 214 with 87 remaining. A presidential candidate requires 270 electoral votes to ascend to White House.

Here are reactions from Kenyans:
