Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has recorded his 150th goal involvement in the Premier League during this afternoon’s clash with Southampton.
The Egyptian laid on Diogo Jota’s second goal of the game after only 32 minutes at Anfield, exchanging passes with Jordan Henderson before playing the ball across goal to leave Jota with a tap-in.
The assist is Salah’s eighth of the season already, adding to his 11 goals – both league-leading totals.
Salah has also now brought up the milestone of 150 direct goal involvements in the Premier League, reaching that figure in just 171 games.
Only Alan Shearer (148) and Thierry Henry (163) have taken fewer games to bring up the 150 mark, with Salah beating the likes of Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane.
150 – Mohamed Salah has now been directly involved in 150 Premier League goals in his 171 games in the competition (108 goals, 42 assists) – only Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry reached 150 goal involvements in fewer games than the Egyptian. Elite. #LIVSOU pic.twitter.com/T1KJD6gfUU
