Life coach ad pastor Robert Burale has a message to the gospel ministers.
Speaking to SPM Buzz, Burale was asked to advise the gospel industry.
Burale said that artistes should ensure that before they identify themselves with which category their song belongs, they should ensure that the song has a message that can minister to them.
“Before you minister to people the Lord minister to you.”
“I would urge most gospel musicians to stop being musicians and become gospel ministers. I have heard some songs and maybe where Jesus is mentioned but they cannot minister to anyone.
Let them use their songs to minister to the people of God.”
Burale was then tasked to comment on the issue of gospel artistes working with secular musicians.
Is it wrong for a gospel minister to work with a secular artiste?
Responding to this, Burale said everything that you give out in music, should minister to the people of God despite who you work with.
“If the song they are producing is ministering to the People of God, then we are okay since we need Gospel ministers. We have many gospel singers and a few gospel ministers. I don’t defend myself, only God who does it for me.”
In 2020, he spoke out about testing positive for COVID-19 but netizens had varied reactions with some saying they didn’t believe that he had coronavirus.
Burale said he does not defend himself to trolls.
“Even during the Corona season, I did not open my mouth to defend myself. God knew where I was. People troll me on social media and I come back, it’s God, since some people have committed suicide because of trolls.”
