A police officer was on Monday morning found shot dead inside his car in Nakuru County.

According to a report seen by Citizen Digital, an officer walking at the car park of Kasarani police line of Nakuru Police Station found the car with the driver’s window shattered and the engine running.

Upon looking inside, the officer saw the owner of the car – Police Constable John Ogweno – lying on the car seat with blood oozing from his nose.

Police officers led by the Nakuru OCS visited the scene and confirmed that the officer had indeed passed on.
