Sad News About Beatrice Elachi

Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi is mourning the loss of her son, Elvis Murakana Namenya, who tragically passed away following a road accident. On March 25, Elvis was involved in an accident after his car suffered a tire burst, leading to a fatal head injury. Elachi recounted that Elvis had been called to assist a friend late that evening and, upon returning home, the tire burst occurred. She advised that in such situations, drivers should avoid using emergency brakes to prevent skidding.

During a memorial service at Holy Trinity Church in Kileleshwa, Elachi urged parents to pray for the current generation, highlighting that many young people attempt to solve problems independently without informing their parents. She described Elvis as a quiet young man who loved football and church equally. Elvis was a Business Studies student at Africa Nazarene University, awaiting graduation in June 2025.

Elvis will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 29, at the family home in Nalepo Village, Kajiado County.
