SKYWARD EXPRESS PLANE CRASH LANDS WITH 37 PASSENGERS ON BOARD

A Skyward Express passenger plane on Wednesday crash-landed in Boru Hache area near the Kenya-Somalia border.

The plane was reportedly bound for Elwak, Mandera County, from the Wilson Airport in Nairobi.

The flight was carrying 37 passengers and at least three crew members on board when it crash-landed.

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) Director General Gilbert Kibe has since confirmed that no casualties were recorded from the incident and that everybody who was on board is safe.

The cause of the incident is yet to be established.
