SOLSKJAER RESPONDS TO ROY KEANE’S MANCHESTER UNITED CRITICISM

‘Ole will pay the ultimate price. Ole will lose his job working with this group of players as sure as night follows day.’ — Keane didn’t hold back while summing up Manchester United’s lacklustre performance against Arsenal last weekend.

Now playing the role of a football pundit, Roy Keane has mostly had been a contradictory voice when things haven’t gone United’s way. And after what has been a horrific start to the Premier League campaign, the former hot-headed man was somehow right to take a dig at those representing Manchester United.

Six matches into the brand new 2020-21 Premier League season, United have lost thrice and drawn once, garnering seven points from the run so far. Their poor record in the league has left them in the 15th place  — way behind fierce rivals like Manchester City and Liverpool — on the Premier League points table.

In addition, after performing so well against the European super houses like Paris Saint-Germain (United beat PSG 2-1 in their own backyard) and RB Leipzig (Solskjaer’s men secured an impressive 5-0 victory over the German side), everyone, including Roy Keane, expected United to come out with a positive result of the Arsenal.

But that eventually didn’t happen as Mikel Arteta’s men outclassed the Norwegian in every aspect.

Ahead of United’s Wednesday night meeting to Istanbul Basaksehir, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came in front of the media to have his say on the Roy Keane’s criticism.
