The Police Force in Tanzania has confirmed that the Tanzanian police have arrested a South African citizen, Thabo Bester known as ‘Rapist’ of Facebook and his girlfriend Dr. Nandipa Magumana with Zakaria Alberto.
It is alleged that the three have been arrested in Arusha, although the official Police statement did not say where they were arrested……. on the other hand, the Spokesman of the Police Force, Police Headquarters, David Misime has said that the internal and external communication procedures are being completed.It will be remembered that Thabo has been wanted by the South African Police facing a false accusation that he died while in prison and escaped and later it was found that he was not dead, an act that surprised the whole country.
Authorities believed Thabo Bester had died after setting himself on fire at Hloko Prison in Bloemfontein in May 2022, but it was later determined that the body believed to be Thabo’s was not his, and earlier this month South African Police launched a search for him.
Thabo is alleged to have lured the victims through the social network Facebook and then raped and robbed them where in 2012 he was sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime of rape, theft and murder.
