THE GOVERNMENT IS SUED FOR SIGNING THE PORT AGREEMENT WITH DUBAI

Those who opened the case are Lawyers Emmanuel K. Changula, Alphonce Lusako, Raphael J. Ngonde and Frank J. Nyalusi accuse the Government of approving the contract on the grounds that it does not consider the interests of the country

The Minister of Construction and the Secretary General are accused of signing the Agreement and sending it to the Parliament without involving the Public to comment if it is against Article 11(1)(2) of the National Resources Law No. 5 of the year 2017

In addition, the Attorney General of the Government and the Secretary of the Parliament are accused of Misleading the Parliament, Voting for the General Yes instead of Individual Members of Parliament where all the Accused are required to appear at the High Court in Mbeya Region on July 3, 2023
