Yesterday, the government suspended the visa-free agreement. This followed after reports of a rapid rise in the arrival of such individuals into the country. The cause of concern was that a big number of them were violating Covid-19 regulations.
There was a lot of commotion at Waiyaki Real Gardens. Police & Immigration officials were verifying documents of travellers originating from Pakistan. These are the enroute passengers who enter Kenya visa-free.
