Harmonize has finally revealed why he and Diamond Platnumz ended up becoming ‘enemies’ after he left WCB.

This he shared during an interview with Millard Ayo,

‘I had a 10-year contract with WCB. Whatever I earned they were to take 60% while I took 10. It did not matter whether the money came from music or from endorsements.

I have never revealed why I left but I have decided to say it because some WCB fans keep assuming I am the bad one.

I have never denied being signed by WCB.

Salama was an international manager at WCB, if you want an international manager you have to liaise with him. When I felt I was getting the exposure I was getting I decided to venture elsewhere.”

Harmonize added;

“I went to Nigeria and when we came back it looked like I was paying Salama to stop working with Diamond Platnumz.

My songs were being played a lot and they said that I was paying Babu Tale to have my songs played more than any other artiste. In 2007 came up with the idea of opening a media house but not in Tanzania.

There was a disagreement as Babu Tale and Salama did not want him to sign that contract.

The trouble started after I started doing well. Diamond’s manager started making it look like I was competing with him ( Diamond).”
