“This is the most important email I have ever missed.”
Matt Doran – a TV host on Australia’s Channel 7 – said he is “mortified” over losing out on an interview with Adele.
He and his crew flew from Sydney to London to meet the singer, for her only Australian interview,
but after admitting that he had not listened to the album, Sony withheld the interview footage.
Doran apologised and said it “was an oversight but not a deliberate snub,” as he had missed an email.
