Ezekiel Mutua: ‘Life In Retirement!’

Today, former Kenya Film Classification Board’s boss Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has spoken out after the ICT cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru decreed he is replaced.

Mucheru has appointed  Christopher Wambua the acting Chief Executive Officer for the government body.

In a letter dated August 6, 2021, the board sent Ezekiel on Terminal leave.

It read in part:

“Ezekiel Mutua, who is serving his second and final term is proceeding on terminal leave from  August 6, 2021, pending the expiry of his contract on October 2021.

Mr. Wambua assumed office today.”

Ever since rumours of his firing hit the interwebs Ezekiel has been sharing his day activities among them a tree planting at a session in commemoration of the Sparks Talk-Ideas Forum, at  Eagles Technical College – Muguga.

Taking to his Twitter,  Ezekiel informed his fans,

“Dear friends and family, Thank you for your prayers and the words of encouragement. I can’t pick all the calls or respond to all the messages, but I deeply appreciate your prayers and goodwill. Mungu mbele!”
