Are Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti calling it quits?
The “Fancy” rapper has suggested that the couple is no longer together after posting a series of cryptic messages on social media. Taking to Instagram on Friday night, Iggy alluded to trouble in her relationship and hinted at her single status.
“People take loyalty for granted & That’s why I’d rather be alone,” Iggy wrote in her IG Story. “You lost a real 1!!!!”
She continued to blast the unidentified person by calling them a liar. “One thing I’ll never understand is how liars live with themselves. That shit doesn’t eat y’all up inside?” she asked.
She also shared three puking face emojis. The posts were soon deleted, but fans shared screenshots of her comments and speculated about the couple’s relationship status.

The breakup rumours come just months after Iggy and Carti welcomed their son Onyx. In June, Iggy confirmed that she gave birth to her first child. “I have a son,” she told fans on Instagram. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more times passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share the news that giant with the world.”
The cart has not publicly acknowledged their son. Back in May, TMZ reported that he purchased a $400,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan to transport the couple’s child.
Iggy, 30, and Carti, 24, began dating after meeting on tour in 2018. By December of that year, they moved into a rental home in the Atlanta suburb of Buckhead. They have kept their relationship mostly private and rarely appear in photos together. Last December, they fueled breakup rumours after Iggy announced that she was “single.”
During an interview with The FADER last year, Carti opened up about dating the Aussie rapper. “Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody,” he said. “It was over with.”
