Manchester United ‘Unlikely To Sign Denis Zakaria This Month’

Manchester United are reportedly unlikely to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria before the end of the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the season and has been strongly linked with a cut-price move away from Monchengladbach during the winter market.

Man United have been credited with an interest in the Switzerland international, with the Red Devils seemingly determined to boost their options in the middle of the park.

However, according to ESPN, a move to Old Trafford in January is unlikely, with the uncertainty surrounding the managerial situation at the club ruling them out of the race.

The report claims that Liverpool are leading the Premier League interest in the Swiss, while Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen to complete a mid-season deal.

Man United, though, are believed to be considering a move for Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara before the end of the month.
