Police:Bars To Close By 7Pm Even After Curfew Lift

Bars across the country will remain closed indefinitely, despite a lift of the daily dusk-to-dawn curfew earlier on Wednesday, the National Police Service (NPS) has said.

The NPS said the police service will continue to ensure adherence to the measures.

“I have noted with much appreciation that the surge of infection has declined over the last two weeks as characterized by the positivity rate below 5% over the last two weeks.” Said Kenyatta.

The head of state ended to dusk-to-dawn curfew with immediate effect.
