William And Kate Face Protests In Jamaica During Royal Tour

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their royal tour of the Caribbean in Jamaica, having arrived after protests were held calling on the monarchy to apologize and pay reparations for its historical role in the slave trade.

“We see no reason to celebrate 70 years of the ascension of your grandmother to the British throne because her leadership, and that of her predecessors, have perpetuated the greatest human rights tragedy in the history of humankind,” part of the letter read.
