A 65-year-old man died on Friday after being attacked by a swarm of bees at their home in Kotunga village in Kisumu County.

His 85-year-old father who was the first to be attacked by the bees survived but is in

critical condition at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH).

Kajulu West location Chief Tobias Omollo said the deceased had attempted to rescue his father when the bees struck.
